Frolic and play, the Eskimo way.

11.28.2011-12.4.2011

Monday: Shoveling snow out of the foundation, no running.
Tuesday: Off. Working during daylight. Turned in key to Anytime Fitness.
Wednesday: 4 miles (Andesite), then 4.5 mile hike (with Michael) up the Longs/Chasm trail to the tree line. Hard packed snow was good for walking, though some form of extra traction would have been helpful.
Thursday: First run in a snow storm! 5.7 miles on Apple Valley (from home to the intersection with 36 and back). Out was pleasant, with light snow, mostly on my back, but the way back was crazy-like, with snow in my eyes/face/all over my front. It's hard to see when snow's constantly blowing in your face. But it was fun! 49:20, so a little slower than 8:30/mile.
Friday: Andesite + out and back towards Apple Valley. 4.8ish.
Saturday-Sunday: Off. Working, etc.
Sum: 14.
