Berkeley Half Marathon!

Hopefully they don't make me take that photo down. Why must they be so expensive?

I ran the Berkeley Half Marathon, and snagged a substantial PR over 17-year-old me.

Time: 1:31:54 (7:01 pace)

Place: 234/4675

Gender Place: 36/2521
Age Group Place: 4/223

Holy smokes I can't believe almost 5,000 folks were out there running 13.1! Nice turnout for an inaugural event.

I won't write up a full race report here, because I wasn't technically planning to *race* this one, though I kind of did and it might trump my January marathon (Carlsbad, 1/19), achievement-wise, if the rest of my winter training flops.

But hopefully it won't!
