When I get older, I will be stronger.

Monday, June 28
Dillingen to Neuburg, 45 miles. There were a few climbs after Donauworth, which kind of sucked, but the descents were nice. 61:30 run, 40 minutes of which were barefoot on a track we stumbled upon, not slow. 7.5 miles?

Tuesday, June 29
Neuburg to Kelheim. 40 miles (since we took the boat from Weltenburg to Kelheim). Grumpy day. 30 minute slow jog along the river (really beautiful). 3 miles.

Wednesday, June 30
Kelheim to Regensburg. 30 miles. Ran 80 minutes along the river in Regensburg. Saw lots of runners out running, including a bunch of fast people at a track. This really tall guy passed me when I was ~3 minutes from turning around, so I secretly used him as a pacer for those 3 minutes. Ummm... 9 miles?

Thursday, July 1
Where did June go? Regensburg to Niederalteich. 55 miles? No run in Niederalteich. Here I will plug Pension Stattenberger, the best place we stayed on this trip, with one of the best breakfasts. Mrs. Stattenberger was so nice and so cute. Reminded me of Meg Schuba. That is all.

Friday, July 2
Niederalteich to Passau (end of bike tour! gasp.) 35 miles. Ran 70 minutes along the Danube and Inn rivers in the evening. 8 miles? Good run with a good friend. ("We should treasure this time, when you're the only person I have to run with.")

Saturday, July 3
Biked into Austria today, 30 miles or so. The Danube cycleway gets even awesomer and prettier in Austria. We considered going all the way to Budapest, but decided against it because Lauren Stolper would start freaking out. Some other time, perhaps. Ran 47 minutes along the rivers again (6 miles?) after watching Germany kick Argentina's bum (thanks to Thomas Mueller's early goal, and adorable face). Abs, push ups, and dips back at the Hotel Rotel Inn.

Sunday, July 4
Train to Munich today. Ran in the Englisher Gardens (largest urban park in the world) 43 minutes (5 miles?). Then biked from biergarten to biergarten. Good night. Good last run in Germany.

Week total: 38.5 + (235) miles.
